Membership

Wilhelm Foundation works to ensure that all children and adults with undiagnosed diseases receive a diagnosis, regardless of where they live. We operates both nationally and internationally to address these medical mysteries.

Rare Diseases International

In 2021, we became a full member of Rare Diseases International (RDI), where we contribute to global efforts to prioritize undiagnosed diseases in international and national agendas.

We look forward with great joy and humility to participating in RDI's important work of putting rare and undiagnosed diseases on the agenda of international organizations and multilateral institutions such as the UN, ECOSOC, and WHO, as well as on the national agenda of every country around the world.

UDNI Undiagnosed Diseases Network International

The Wilhelm Foundation is one of the founders of the Undiagnosed Diseases Network International (UDNI), a network of specialists in diagnostics. The UDNI's Patient Engagement Group (PEG) includes organizations working for PLWUD and their families, many of which are umbrella organizations. The Wilhelm Foundation oversees a crucial section in the UDNI's Patient area where individuals who have undergone diagnostic evaluations at a UDP but remain undiagnosed can upload their medical information and photos, offering specialists the chance to identify potential conditions.

Learn more about the Wilhelm Foundation's involvement in various UDNI committees and working groups.
