Wilhelm Foundation is working to solve the undiagnosed diseases.

Wilhelm Foundation is a global, nonprofit dedicated to ending the diagnostic odyssey for People Living With Undiagnosed Diseases (PLWUD).

Founded by parents Helene and Mikk Cederroth, who experienced firsthand the devastating consequences of living without answers, the Foundation works to ensure that no child or adult is left behind without a diagnosis. With an estimated 350 million people worldwide affected and only around 40% currently able to receive answers through today’s technologies - Wilhelm Foundation exists for the remaining 60%.

Through international collaboration, advocacy, research partnerships, and innovative initiatives such as the Undiagnosed Hackathon and Global Undiagnosed Day, Wilhelm Foundation brings together families, clinicians, researchers, data scientists, and policymakers to accelerate discovery, improve care, and drive systemic change.

Wilhelm Foundation is a co-founder of the Undiagnosed Diseases Network International (UDNI) and pioneered the UDNI Conferences, helping to build and unite the global undiagnosed disease community. Helene Cederroth is a member of the UDNI board.
